Experience the best of the Yorkshire Coast at Bayness Farm. Perched on the northwest side of Robin Hood’s Bay, our campsite sits high on the hillside, offering breathtaking panoramic sea views across the water to Ravenscar. We provide a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere for tents, caravans, and motorhomes.
Located just above the village, Bayness Farm is perfectly situated for exploring North Yorkshire.
We offer dedicated areas for various types of campers, located to the left of the farm buildings to ensure the best coastal views.
Our site is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay:
As we have limited capacity, advance booking is essential.
To maintain our relaxed atmosphere, we ask guests to follow these simple rules:
Yes, but with restrictions to protect the grass. Disposable BBQs and raised fire pits are allowed, provided they do not touch the ground. You must bring your own wood, as it is not supplied on-site.
No. Electric hook-ups are available strictly for motorhomes, caravans, and campervans. We do not offer electric for tents or trailer tents. Hook-ups must be pre-booked and are subject to availability.
We require a minimum stay of 2 nights during standard periods and 3 nights during Bank Holidays. We operate a pre-payment policy; all bookings must be made and paid for at least 24 hours in advance, as we cannot accept walk-in customers.
Yes, dogs are welcome! There is a nightly charge per dog, and they must be kept on a lead at all times while on the farm.
Robin Hood’s Bay is a few minutes away by car or a scenic 30-minute walk via the farm’s access track. Whitby is approximately 4 miles away, which is about a 10-minute drive.
