The Farm Experience

As a working farm, guests can enjoy the authentic sights of horses grazing nearby and tractors working in the surrounding fields. Please note that the grassed areas can become wet after rain, which may occasionally result in longer grass between mows.

Walking & Exploration

Guests are welcome to explore the surrounding fields and walk around the reservoir. A footpath leads directly to Clifton Campville, where you can visit the Green Man pub for excellent food or the new Coach House (open for brunch 9–3, Wednesday to Sunday). Alternatively, enjoy a lovely walk down the lane to Wiggington and The Crown pub.

Water Safety & Reservoir Fishing

An irrigation reservoir is located adjacent to the site. While game fishing is permitted, the water is extremely deep and cold.

Safety Warning: Under no circumstances is swimming or entering the water permitted, as it is life-threatening. Children must be supervised at all times.

FAQs

Q What facilities are available on-site?

The site is designed for a simple, tranquil experience. We provide 10 hardstanding pitches with metered electric hook-ups, an Elsan point for chemical waste, and water taps. Please note that as a "simple design" site, we do not have a toilet or shower block, so guests should be self-contained.

Q Can we bring children and is the site safe?

Children are welcome; however, we are a working farm with an unfenced irrigation reservoir adjacent to the pitches. The water is extremely deep and cold. For safety reasons, swimming is strictly prohibited, and children must be supervised at all times.

Q Are there places to eat within walking distance?

Yes! There is a footpath leading to Clifton Campville, where you’ll find the Green Man pub and the Coach House for brunch. You can also take a lovely walk down the lane to Wiggington to visit The Crown pub.

Q Is the site accessible for large vehicles?

Access is via a three-mile-long gated lane. While the site offers hardstanding pitches and is easily accessible from the M42, the approach is rural, ensuring a quiet stay without the crowds of larger commercial parks.

Q Do I need to book in advance and how much does it cost?

We recommend booking online via our website to secure your spot. A single-night stay is £25, while stays of two nights or more are discounted to £20 per night. We are open all year round!
