Campsite Information

We provide a traditional camping experience focused on tents and small vehicles. Please note that we do not provide electric hookups.

  • Accepted: Tents, trailer tents, roof tents, and small campervans (e.g., VW Transporters).
  • Not Accepted: Motorhomes, caravans, or pets.
  • Minimum Stay: 2 nights.
  • Season: Open from 1st May until 24th September.

On-Site Facilities

Our site features high-quality water with “Natural Mineral Water” status (conforming to EEC directive 1989).

  • Washblocks: Dedicated men’s and women’s toilets and showers.
  • Utility Room: Facilities for washing pots and pans, plus a designated area for rinsing wetsuits and beachwear.
  • Charging & Cooling: Phone/tablet charging stations and a freezer for cooler blocks are available (both for a small fee).

Campfires & BBQs

We embrace the traditional campfire atmosphere!

  • Equipment: Fires and BBQs must be kept in containers (fire bowls or buckets). You may bring your own or hire a fire bucket on-site.
  • Grass Protection: All fires must be placed on the blocks we supply to protect the turf.
  • Fuel: Please bring your own charcoal or wood.

Hostel Accommodations

Our hostel sleeps up to 24 guests across three distinct styles of lodging. Please bring your own sleeping bags, pillows, and duvets.

  • Private Rooms: Four lockable rooms (sleeping 2 per room in single beds, can be joined for doubles).
  • Alpine Dormitory: A shared sleeping floor with mattresses for 12 guests.
  • Family Maisonette: A self-contained unit sleeping 4 guests.
  • Hostel Amenities: Includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area for 24, and 3 private showers/toilets.

Site Rules & Policies

To maintain our family-friendly atmosphere, we ask all guests to adhere to the following:

  • Quiet Hours: Noise levels must be kept down after 10:00 PM.
  • Age Requirements: Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult (please bring proof of age).
  • Prohibited: No dogs/pets, no guns (including air guns, BB guns, or imitations), and no motorhomes.
  • Payments: Cash or card accepted on arrival.
  • Refunds: No discounts or refunds are provided for inclement weather, late arrivals, or early departures.

Q What types of vehicles and tents do you allow?

We are a traditional site catering to tents (all sizes), trailer tents, roof tents, and small campervans (such as VW Transporters). Please note that we cannot accommodate motorhomes, caravans, or twin-axle vehicles.

Q Are dogs or pets allowed on the site?

To maintain the local environment and the comfort of all our guests, we have a strict no-pets policy. This applies to both the campsite and the hostel.

No, we do not offer electric hookups at our pitches. However, we do provide charging stations for phones and tablets and a freezer for cooler blocks (both available for a small fee) to help you stay powered up.

Q Can we have a campfire or BBQ?

Yes! We love a campfire, provided they are kept in a fire bowl or bucket and placed on the protective blocks we supply to keep our grass healthy. You can bring your own equipment or hire a fire bucket on-site. Please bring your own wood or charcoal.

Yes, we require a minimum stay of 2 nights. We are open seasonally from 1st May through 24th September, and we recommend booking in advance as we are a family-friendly site that prioritizes a quiet, peaceful atmosphere.
