2026 Bookings & Membership

We are now taking bookings for 2026. We operate completely independently from the Caravan & Motorhome Club. While we have a 5-van “Certificated Location” (CL) area, we also offer the Millrace area, where no club membership is required. We pride ourselves on being more affordable and personal than larger national club sites.

Site Features & Facilities

  • Adults Only (21+): A strictly child and youth-free zone for ultimate relaxation.
  • Pitches: All 15 pitches (6 on the CL and 9 on the Millrace) are level, wide hard-standings.
  • Electric Hook-ups: 10amp EHU available on every pitch. (Note: No charging points for electric vehicles).
  • Amenities: Heated showers and toilets are available for all guests.
  • Connectivity: Free on-site Wi-Fi and credible 4G mobile signal. Excellent “Digital Free-View” TV reception.

  • Nearby Shopping: The historic city of Carlisle is just a 30-minute drive away.

Arrival & Departure Procedures

  • Arrival Time: From 12:00 noon onwards.
  • Departure Time: Please vacate your pitch by 11:30 am.
  • Pitch Allocation: On arrival, please check the welcome board outside the main entrance. Your name and allocated pitch number will be displayed, and a reserved sign will be waiting on your pitch.
  • Assistance: If you are new to caravanning or nervous about maneuvering, John offers free help and guidance using five decades of experience.

Terms & Conditions

  • Cancellations: We often accept bookings in good faith without a deposit. However, cancellations made within 7 days of arrival, or “no-shows,” will be liable for the full cost of the pre-booked stay.
  • Pitch Types: We specialize in touring only; we do not offer seasonal or storage pitches.
  • Prohibition: We do not host fishing clubs, groups, or “pub stopover” style stays to ensure we maintain our stringent health, safety, and spacing standards.

Yes. Riverside Tourer Park is a dedicated child and youth-free zone. All guests must be 21 years of age or older to ensure a tranquil and quiet environment for everyone.

Q Do I need to be a member of the Caravan & Motorhome Club to stay?
