Welcome to Tremarne Campsite

Experience the magic of Cornwall at Tremarne, our family-run, award-winning, and dog-friendly touring site. Managed by the Davison family—Craig, Kellie, Georgina, and Jack—we offer a warm welcome (often accompanied by a tail wag from our Labradors, Jinsy and Leelu) to outdoor lovers and adventurers alike.

  • Local Gems: Close to The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Charlestown, Mevagissey, and the Fowey foot ferry (keep an eye out for dolphins in St Austell Bay!).

FAQs

Q Is the campsite dog-friendly?

Yes! We are very dog-friendly and welcome up to four well-behaved dogs per pitch. We provide a fenced off-lead exercise area and a dedicated dog wash station. We simply ask that dogs remain on a lead while on the rest of the site and are never left unattended.

Q Can we have a campfire or BBQ at our pitch?

Absolutely. We believe campfires are part of the magic! You can hire a fire pit from us (includes wood and kindling), and BBQs are permitted as long as they are kept at least 30cm off the grass using the protectors provided. All fires must be extinguished by 11:00 PM.

Q What are the minimum stay requirements?

During High Season, we require a minimum advance booking of five nights for electric hook-up pitches and three nights for non-electric pitches. Please note that we do not accept arrivals on Sundays.

Q Is there food and drink available on-site?

Yes, we have our own on-site bar, The Peg & Mallet, where you can enjoy a drink or cocktail (closed Wednesdays and Sundays). We also host Yans Chinese Kitchen on select days, subject to site capacity. For other essentials, we are located close to many local amenities in St Austell.

Q Is there WiFi available at the pitches?

Yes, we use the Club WiFi network which covers the site. You can connect up to five devices with flexible passes ranging from 24 hours (£5) up to one month (£30). You can even pre-book your WiFi access before you arrive.
