What Our Guests Say

“The location is stunning… only two tents each in their own fields so it felt really private. Our spaniel had the best two days running around completely free.” — Lucas & Alex

“Literally you do not need to bring anything bar your clothes, toothpaste & toothbrush… nice thick blankets for snuggles by the fire.” — Cameron

“The Airstream is comfortable, clean, and surprisingly spacious! A lovely little seating area outside with a BBQ/firepit which we used most evenings.” — Jamie & Jess

FAQs

Q What is the difference between the Baby Belle and Busy Belle tents?

The Baby Belle is a 5-metre tent designed for a romantic getaway, sleeping 2 people in a luxury double bed. The Busy Belle is much larger at 7.5 metres and is designed for families, sleeping up to 4 people with a king-size bed and a sofa that converts into two singles or a second king-size bed.

Q Can we bring our dog, and is the site secure?

Yes! We are a very dog-friendly site. Each unit is situated in its own exclusive, spacious field, giving your dog plenty of room to run. We just ask that you keep them under control. Our resident dog, Luna, also loves making new friends!

Q Is the site suitable for winter or autumn stays?

Absolutely. While the Bell Tents are perfect for the warmer months, The Tinner (Airstream) features a modern central heating system, making it a cozy and warm base for exploring Cornwall during the autumn and winter seasons.

Q How close are the nearest beaches and shops?

We are ideally located just 10 minutes from the famous north coast surfing beaches (like Porthtowan). For supplies, the village of Chacewater is a 10-minute walk away along a traffic-free lane, where you’ll find a bakery, fish & chip shop, and a local store.

Q What facilities are provided for cooking and hygiene?

Every unit has its own private BBQ/firepit and washing-up sink. The Bell Tents share the "Gypsy Shack" facilities (hot showers and flushing toilets), while The Tinner Airstream has its own private internal shower and toilet. We provide all the basics, including pots, pans, cutlery, and even tea and coffee.
